After the overhauling of the ugc net exam from subjective to objective it appeared a cake walk at the first instance.But the raising level of quality questions, since the introduction of objective test in all the three papers, has made students to rethink about their strategy.What has come as another shocker is that this pattern of exam would also change and we might have to give a subjective paper or there might be two stages of exam from 2014.UGC has formed a 12-member committee to revisit the exam in totality. This includes a re-look at the format of testing. Essentially the committee will recommend changes on three aspects — pre-conduct, conduct and the post conduct of the exam.there are suggestions for conducting seperate exam for jrf and it can reintroduce negative marking.
